About us
We are building Nefesly for people who wonder about their partner's snoring or their own nights. On one side we publish sourced articles on sleep and breathing; on the other we develop an app that brings together what the phone hears and what the smartwatch and ring measure at night, and tells you about it in the morning.
Every piece of health information we write is backed by a peer-reviewed source. We also state how strong the evidence from a study is; we do not present a small study as a firm result.
In the app, audio does not leave the phone. We do not ask you to open an account, and we use no advertising or analytics. Organisations that support us do not see our content before publication, and we make no health claims for their products.
Nefesly is not a medical device and does not diagnose. We do our best to explain clearly when it is time to see a doctor.
The team includes people working on software, audio processing and research. We prepare articles together with their sources and note under each text when it was published and when it was last reviewed. We meet regularly with physicians working in sleep and respiratory medicine.
